Women in Foodservice Forum Booklet

Role: Senior Designer

Brief: Create a “first-touch” sales piece that celebrates women in leadership in the food service industry. The piece will be included in hotel gift boxes to the prospective clients attending the Women in Food Service Forum.

Execution: The key to this piece was striking the right tone. It had to be celebratory and show women working hard and leading in a positive way. The food service industry is not known for its female empowerment and is not easily portrayed in a way that is up-lifting. I made sure to show the leaders mentoring and empowering their teams to be their best and paired that imagery with quotes from Workday’s executive female leaders to demonstrate the culture fit to be had with Workday. The booklet was delivered in a customized box with personalized letters and gifts that related to the convention’s keynote speaker.
